Extra information

The 2026 edition aims to bring together operators, Internet service providers, IXPs, data centers, regulators, public institutions, technical communities, universities, content providers, and international partners to address the priority issues facing the regional Internet ecosystem.

 

Forum discussion will be focused on peering, infrastructure development, routing security, IRR/RPKI, economics of peering, value and benefits of the Internet exchange points (IXPs), routing BGP, best practices, Internet measurements, governance, regulatory and policy aspects, and much more.

 

The Internet Society will co-host the event in partnership with a local organization, CAMIX. Local organization committee members include Cameroon Computer Society, Cameroon Open Internet, Cameroon Network Operators (cmNOG).
